Back from Vacation!

Oh my holy moly, that was an awesome vacation. And compared to the utter bliss of doing NOT A SINGLE DAMN THING except tan, eat, and hang with my friends and boyfriend in Thailand…. being back is a serious reality check. That picture up there? That’s really actually me. Yep. I’ve come back to a pile of reading for classes that is literally 300 pages thick along with deadlines, more responsibility at work, blah blah blah. Getting back into the swing of things is like trying to get on a treadmill that’s already running on full speed.

Oh, why can’t I just life my life remotely? From Thailand? I mean, I might get sick of the food eventuallllly… but I could never get sick of the views.  And there was so much that I still haven’t seen! Although, I have to admit, it was getting sort of weird to not pole at all for a week and a half.

If you haven’t seen this pic on my Facebook yet, here’s a little bit of the Phi Phi islands on your computer screen. And yes, that’s a park ranger’s hut we’re shoulder mounting on. Thanks to my awesome partner in crime (on the right), for being game for this and headstands on the beach and jumping pictures galore… and the boyfriend for patiently taking the pics to document all of it =) I’ve got more pics on Facebook here. 

I hope you all had a great couple of weeks while I was gone, and enjoyed the blasts from the pasts– all those “from the vault” entries were near and dear to my heart, and it was fun going through the old entries and picking ones to repost!
