Flight Club Showcase

Quick little announcement- my workshop schedule has been announced for my July visit to Tease Dance & Fitness in Naperville, IL… just outside of Chicago. It looks like everything is already sold out except for the Polished Spins workshop, but there is a waiting list and if there’s enough demand, more workshops may be added so if you’re interested in any of them, call and put yourself on the list! So, I’m in the process of birthing another child but things are going much more easily this time. Well, okay fine, not a child, but I’m hosting another pole dance showcase in Manhattan! My first experience with organizing it was so much fun, and so inspiring, that I literally decided the same night of the event to put together another one. And so, this summer, on a hot night in July, we’re gathering again to dance our hearts out. I can’t be more excited.

This time around, because of the success and great response from the last event, we’ve sought out a much larger, more plush and delicious venue. And thanks to Bad Kitty, Mighty Grip, and X-pole for sponsoring us, without them it would be tough for a little group like us to be able to rent expensive space in the city to put on our show. How beautiful will this space be to perform in!!

We made a conscious decision to pick a venue based on the desires of the performers and looked for something that was as low-key, non-intimidating, and intimate as possible. We’ve been posting the bios and pics of the performers on our Flight Club facebook page, and I’m getting so excited to see what all these people have in store. Some of the performers are people I’ve never even met, so I’m just really grateful that the pole community is coming together in such a fantastic way and I am really looking forward to watching all the performances. And enjoying the full bar and outdoor terrace too. My goodness my nerves were so bad at the last one, it was like I was feeling everyone’s nervousness and anxiety like I was going to take the stage myself! A cocktail will definitely keep me calmer this time around.

If you’re going to be in NYC in July, you can buy tickets here or take a peek at the website to find more ways to connect!

Tomorrow’s post: Tuesday Tunes!
